Very Flavorful with a Hint of Spice

We found this in a spice shop while on vacation. Being the Maker's Mark lovers that we are, we couldn't resist buying a bottle. My wife decided that she wanted to make barbeque chicken last night, but realized we were out of barbeque sauce, then she remembered that we had this sauce. The chicken turned out wonderful. This sauce has a slightly sweet flavor with a hint of spice. This is a must try for the Maker's Mark lovers out there. Well, I have to run, I'm off to buy a case of this sauce on the Web!

This AIN'T Barbecue Sauce!

I suppose you could use it for BBQ sauce, but IMHO barbecue doesn't take too
well to sauces laced with bourbon or Jack Daniels.
This Gourmet Sauce is tailor made for beef. I've never had anything that tasted
better with a steak, and its great on burgers, brisket, and even the occasional
roast beef sandwich.
The ingredient list in this sauce is extensive: Pineapple, applesauce, raisins,
anchovies, tomato paste, molasses, chili peppers, garlic, onion, salt, cloves,
tamarind, paprika, and shallots. Just a wonderful blend of flavors, very rich
and very balanced...and I am of the opinion that anchovies make everything taste
better.
This is a great sauce and makes terrific and thoughtful gifts, it just ain't BBQ
sauce. LOL

A Uniquely Flavorful Sauce

Initial impression: Right out of the bottle it tastes like a combination of lightly-peppered tomato soup, a wistochire steak sauce, and a vinegar-based BBQ sauce. It tastes more similar to a steak sauce than a BBQ sauce.
